Scout Tarquinio is a 19-year-old Kentucky native professional photojournalist. She is a student at the University of Kentucky, studying Journalism. She was accepted into the Class of 2024 at the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in Film and Photography, where she expanded her knowledge of photography and continued to improve. Scout is currently a photographer for the Kentucky Kernel, where she covers news, features and sports. Scout is pursuing her love of photojournalism by photographing anything she can and revealing the truth of every situation.
